An experienced player with over a decade of experience on the PDC circuit, Gary Anderson, also known as the ‘Flying Scotsman’, is a force to be reckoned with. He was born in Musselburgh, Scotland on 22nd December 1970 and has been a fixture of the sport for many years. He is always ready to put his 23g Unicorn darts to good use! As for Anderson’s titles, well, he has a lot, including 19 televised wins and 31 non-televised wins.
Gary Anderson Professional History
Anderson won his first events in 2007 at the World Darts Trophy and Darts League events. However, he did not join the PDC circuit until 2009. In 2011, he lost the World Championship to Adrian Lewis, but returned in 2015 for the win. He landed another World Championship win in 2016, making him one of a select few players who have won back-to-back titles.
Together with Peter Wright, Anderson took the 2019 World Cup win for the first time.
